African Bull Frog
The African Bull (Pyxicephalus adspersus)
This species lives in the southern half of Africa.
These are very large and aggressive. They will consume whatever is near them that will fit inside their mouths. They are known to consume their own young.
Shown below is an amazing video of an African bull frog that is guarding his young. He actually digs a trench using his legs to provide water for his tadpoles which were drying out in their small pool.
